After some discussion with my friends at Mizuno Running about my recent running funk they came up with the idea that I try a different running shoe.  What?!   If you know anything about me, you know that I am loyal to my Wave Riders and have been running in them since I was fit for shoes 5 years ago. Wouldn’t that be cheating on my shoes if I changed styles?

In all seriousness, I know so many things have changed since I’ve started running, like my body, running style, and I’m sure my foot strike too.  In addition, as shoes develop, their design changes over time.  With all of that, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that it may be time for a change.

Thanks to Mizuno, my new shoes will be on their way soon.  However, this time around I’m giving the Wave Precision a whirl.  From my understanding, like the Wave Rider, they are a neutral shoe, but a bit lighter.

Not only am I getting new shoes, but some of you may too….
