RFF – 3/23/12
61. I used to get freaked out when I didn’t have a plan or know where I was going. I’m getting better with that. Actually I have to watch that I don’t go to the opposite end of the spectrum.
2. I have a serious phobia of snakes. I’m talking scream, run, go into fetal position, and cry. I went through a time in my life where no matter where I went I had to verify snakes weren’t hiding…under the toilet, in the shower curtain…it was bad. I no longer do that but my phobia still exists.
3. I still use my TI-83 calculator from high school. I couldn’t imagine doing bills without it. Am I the only one?
4. I collect quote books and read them often. I have them bookmarked and highlighted for referencing.
5. D willingly watches chick flicks with me and he’s been to midnight premieres for the Twilight Saga movies. I’m grateful for that.
What’s your biggest phobia?

RFF – 3/16/12
71. I do believe people come into and out of your life for reasons, but must admit I wish I had more/better contact specifically with my friends from our time in New Orleans. I’m grateful that at least on Facebook I can peek into their lives.
2. One reason I try to limit my attention to politics is I get far too passionate about my beliefs and get disappointed…every time.
3. I used to be so horrible at running that when I went out for track in junior high I couldn’t run once around the track. I gave up trying to run and did shot put/discus.
4. After working 4 jobs for that past year I finally put in my 2-weeks notice at one of them. As of February 23rd I’m down to 3 jobs. Hooray!
5. I have so many things in the mix right now that sometimes I need to remind myself to take a moment and realize what’s going on around me and what I’m doing. Big things are happening. Thankfully I work well under pressure.
Keep Smiling and Be Grateful =)
RFF – 3/9/12 – I Love My Skate
22As you know, last weekend I ventured down to the Arnold Sports Festival. To read my recaps click here and here.
It was a 2 hour drive and I drove by myself, which is no big deal for me. A road trip often helps clear my mind. I got slightly bored at one point and figured I’d do a video. I wasn’t sure what I was going to talk about but since I was driving I ended up telling you about my car….a Chevy Aveo Hatchback.
I love my car so much I thought I’d dedicate my Random Facts Friday this week to my Aveo.
1. Do I really love my car? Yes. If you know me well enough chances are I’ve talked to you about the love of my Skate.
2. Skate? Yes, I call my car Skate. There’s a local roller skating rink and when it’s your birthday you get a ride around the rink in a big ol’ skate. You bet I had a ride or two in that thing as a kid. Now, I get to ride around in my own “skate” on a daily basis.
3. Prior to my Aveo I had a Ford Explorer Sport. I downsized to save money on gas and I had no need for a larger vehicle.
4. This was my first brand-new car ever. Prior to my Aveo I had a Mercury Topaz, Ford Tempo, then Ford Explorer Sport.
5. Why didn’t I stick with Ford? No specific reason. My grandmother worked for Ford, my mom has worked for Ford for 25+ years, and my brother is an engineer for GM. I knew I’d more than likely stick with one of the two. I also prefer to “Buy American” when I can.
6. It’s black with metallic specks. So pretty in the sun.
7. Since I went more economical I was able to splurge a bit and chose the higher end model with a sunroof. It’s my first car with one and I love it.
8. We use this as our regular vehicle but thankfully due to in-town driving I only have 44,700 miles on it….and I’ve had it since 2006.
9. Even though I don’t have a ton o’ miles on Skate, we’ve been many of places with it. Chicago, North Carolina, NYC, Detroit, Columbus, Cleveland, and Niagara Falls.
10. It has super small tires that need to be special ordered. I recently had them replaced.
11. I love small cars. The smaller the better. They make me smile.
12. Skate handles better in the snow and rain than any of my previous vehicles, including the Explorer. I feel safe and secure in it.
13. It may be small but it packs a punch and can keep up with the best of them. I’m always surprised by how much giddy up it has.
14. Even with the smaller trunk I can still fit lots of groceries. If we use the backseat and trunk we can fit 2 regular suitcases AND 2 carry-on suitcases.
15. My future car? Dream car: Volvo (Damn you Edward!) Realistically: Something just as small, if not smaller than the Aveo. I like the Chevrolet Sonic or Ford Fiesta. I’ve also fallen in love the size of Smart Cars so the Chevrolet Spark is definitely on my list of cars to check out after it releases in the US in the summer of 2012. I’m highly intrigued with electric and/or hybrid options such as the Chevrolet Volt too since they fit into my lifestyle of “reducing my carbon footprint”.

What car do you drive? What’s your dream car?
Keep Smiling and Be Grateful =)
RFF – 3/2/12 – Our Furry Friends
11This Friday I’m going to mix up my RFF again. I’ve had several people comment about my kiddos on various videos and photos here on the blog. I thought I’d introduce you to our furry friends.
Viking
Breed: Rat Terrier
Born: June 2002
Acquired from: Pet store. (cringe) This is before we knew better.
Loves: Tennis balls. He can play some mean catch, but don’t be surprised if he comes back limping. Doesn’t slow him down much though, he just keeps on a goin’.
Disorders/Diseases: Broke his leg 2 days after acquiring him by falling off the couch. He continues to have residual issues from his fracture and a possible partial cruciate (ACL) tear in that leg too.

Natchez
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Born: February 2002
Acquired from: Petco Adoption
Loves: To drink water out of the tub and visit with you while you’re taking a bath.
Disorders/Diseases: She came to us as a rescue so we had no health history, but since then she’s had eosinophilic granulomas flare ups. Basically an inflammatory disease of the skin that has many triggers. Thankfully it’s easily treated and she hasn’t had many problems within the past couple years.

Jax
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Born: ?? 2002
Acquired from: A fellow vet tech found him after he was hit by a car. He was never claimed and we adopted him.
Loves: Catnip
Disorders/Diseases: He suffers from Feline Idiopathic/Interstitial Cystitis. He’ll have episodes when you think he has a urinary tract infection due to his frequent visits to the litter box. In actuality, small changes can mean major stress, and stress in cats manifests through the urinary bladder. Speaking from dealing with clients’ pets and now my own, this is a confusing and stressful (to the human) diagnosis. You not only have to treat the cat for it’s symptoms, but somehow figure out what is causing the stress….sometimes things you can’t change. i.e. change in weather, etc. Not to mention, if you don’t take care of the problem, it can lead to further problems that can be fatal, such as an obstructed cat (a cat that cannot eliminate it’s urine).

Lily
Breed: Chihuahua
Born: May 2004
Acquired from: She was on death’s door when she presented to the vet hospital. We didn’t think she’d make it through the night, yet she did. Ultimately her owner did not have enough money for treatment so she was abandoned. After a long wait David and I were able to adopt her.
Loves: Food. Period.
Diseases/Disorders: To make a VERY long story short, she has Inflammatory Bowel Disease. We spent a couple years, many medications, many diets, and loads of money trying to make her better. And then one day, her life changed forever. We have no idea what happened, but her life turned around. She’s on a regular diet and on no daily medications. However, she still has flareups and “bad days” but they are easily controlled. Now you wouldn’t guess her to have any history of being emaciated as she’s a bit pudgy now.
When we first adopted her

Spencer
Breed: Greyhound
Born: May 2006
Acquired From: Local greyhound rescue organization.
Loves: Stealing the tennis ball from Viking
Diseases/Disorders: He was a race dog from the track that mysteriously had a broken pelvis. Needless to say it is believed he didn’t actually break his pelvis while running, but was injured through brunt force of a human (possibly for not doing well enough on that track??) When we adopted him he was still on light activity. Since then he’s also been diagnosed with epilepsy and lymphoplasmacytic neutrophilic gingivitis. It’s also known as Lymphoplasmacytic Stomatitis (LPS) and is a form of immune-mediated inflammatory response. Unfortunately there is no known cause. We have been able to keep both issues in check through medications.

Gris Gris
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Born: May 2011
Acquired from: Our driveway. Not but a day earlier I said, “We’re maxed out on companion animals” she shows up in our driveway as an underweight kitten with a severe upper respiratory problem.
Loves: Running like mad for no reason
Diseases/Disorders: Residual eye ulcer scar from upper respiratory infection as a kitten.

With all of the medical issues David and I have, it’s no surprise that our animals have inherited some problems. Ha! Just kidding about the inheriting part. Actually, I think it’s because I’m a registered vet tech and have a flashing light above my head that draws all of these animals to us. Either way, we’ve got some kids with some issues.
Although trying, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m grateful that we are lucky enough to have them in our lives and that we are able to give them the treatment(s) they need.
Do you have any companion animals in your life??
Keep Smiling and Be Grateful =)
RFF – 2/24/12
6This post was rotating around the blogosphere last week due to Valentine’s Day. I figured I’d use the same idea for my RFF this week.
1. How long have you and your significant other been together?
We initially got together in September 1997. We dated until early 1998, went our separate ways, then got back together March 2000. So just over 12 years.
2. How did you meet? {What’s your “love” story?}
We were both in band and met at summer band practice. He was sagging his pants and I said, “I find it so unattractive when guys sag their pants….” As a general statement, targeting him but didn’t necessarily say it to him. Ha! Then when I had an end-of-summer get together at my house he called my best friend to see if he could come. I thought he was hitting on my friend. Little did I know…
Prom 2000
3. If married, how long have you been married?
Will be 10 years July 13th of this year.

4. Where did you get married? Big or small wedding?
We had planned to have a long engagement, but when things didn’t go as planned for him in the military we chose to get married…planning a wedding in 2 months. It was small with immediate family and grandparents, on the beach.
5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Do share!
We jokingly started calling each other babe and baby. They unexpectedly stuck.
6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.
He calms me. He’s the yin to my yang. He’s adventurous.
7. Tell us how he proposed?
I was visiting him on base in NOLA, we were watching TV and he asked to see the ring he had given me a couple years earlier. I gave it to him. He looked at it, switched it out (without me knowing), slipped the engagement ring on my finger and said, “Will you marry me.” My response: “Are you serious?” Ha! I knew his proposal was coming, but couldn’t believe it actually happened.

8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals?
He’s a homemade card kind of guy…with anything he can find, including cardboard boxes. We’re not really into mushy stuff. He has gotten me a stuffed animal or two and also a magic 8 ball.
9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?
I admit that I would love sunset dinner on the beach but we lean towards watching a movie and chilling on the couch.
10. Tell us one thing you’d like to do with your significant other one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?
Travel. We’ve made a dent but are still working on it. Next up, Italy!
12. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love.
Talk, share, communicate, and be honest.
We had a long distance relationship for almost 2 years and survived it through long phone conversations. Although it wasn’t fun at the time, we learned a lot about each other and relationships.
13. Show us a picture of what love means to you.
Lastly, did you know that BananaBuzzbomb was on Facebook? I would love your “likes” so that you can stay up to date on my blog along with my random thoughts.
Happy Friday!
Keep Smiling and Be Grateful =)
RFF – 2/17/12
121. I bite my nails horribly. A few years ago I had acrylics put on and it was the only time I’ve ever had “nails”. I went almost a year keeping up with them and didn’t chew on them. I really enjoyed having them but the cost and lack of necessity made me go back to stubby chewed up nails.
2. David and I never went on a honeymoon, so now every vacation we go on we call our honeymoon. Our first official vacation wasn’t until into our 3rd year of marriage. We have been to Disney World, Eastern Caribbean, Puerto Rico, Minnesota, Niagara Falls, NYC, and are heading to Italy in April to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.
3. Growing up I honestly never thought I’d get married. But then I proved myself wrong and got married at the age of 18. No regrets. If someone would’ve told me that just a few years before I would be getting married at 18, I would’ve said they were crazy. I also never dreamt I’d move that far away from home, but once married I moved to New Orleans with D. I love and miss that place like you wouldn’t believe. Maybe I’ll post more on that later…
4. I slept walked several times as a kid and am still paranoid to this day that I’ll do it again.
5. I stumbled into the veterinary technician world when our 6 week old puppy, Viking, fell off of the couch and broke his leg. With him growing and requiring cast changes we were at the animal hospital often. And since I was new to the New Orleans area I had no idea how to get around, so I would spend hours at the hospital. I started asking questions, got a job at the hospital, and signed up for classes.

Keep Smiling and Be Grateful =)
**A few reminders…today is the last day to enter my Coach’s Oats Giveaway. And have you read about this Saturday’s Team Sparkle Virtual Run? Please join in the fun!
RFF – 2/10/12
7It’s time for another RFF! I was also tagged this week by Megan of Running Toward The Prize, so I’ll answer her questions following my “facts”.
1. Few people know that 2 years ago I lived an entire month on only bananas, dates, and water. It was a transition period to going raw. Believe it or not, I loved it, never once got sick of bananas or dates, and it was the most alive I’ve felt my entire life. Although I wasn’t on a 100% banana/date diet the entire time, I kept up with staying 95% raw until about a month ago. During my raw period I ate MANY bananas. Several months ago I calculated approximately how many bananas I’ve consumed within the past 2 years…well over 10,000.
2. Due to my energy and positivity someone dared me to try out for cheerleading while in high school. When interviewed in my audition I was asked what season I’d like to cheer. I flippantly said, “Both football and basketball!” and surprisingly made both squads. I love to dance and have lots of energy, so it was a good time, but I found out quickly the cattiness that comes along with it wasn’t worth it. Needless to say my cheerleading days lasted only that one year.
3. After years of personal debate I got a tattoo 1.5 yrs ago. I chose words around my torso that all mean something to me. I “designed” it by choosing fonts, arranging it how I wanted it to be laid out, and made sure the artist used vegan ink. It took well over 4 hours and I call it my “Band of Significance”. I’m very happy with it and most people wouldn’t even know I have a tattoo. I have yet to decide if I will add on to it or not. Only time will tell.
4. Speaking of tattoos, most people wouldn’t guess that I’m married to a guy that has well over 30 tattoos, his nose pierced, and rocks a mohawk. Funny thing is, he doesn’t fit the “stereotype” and he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. And I’m not just saying that because he’s my husband. Of course, what would you expect from a rockstar?

5. My mom and I have the same birthday. I’m grateful that although she may not have had a choice, she willingly shared her birthday with me. Other than D, she’s my best friend and am glad we share this special day together.
My Mom and I at approximately the same ages. I am so like her in many ways…it’s scary.
Megan’s Questions For Me:
1. What’s your favorite animated movie? Tough one as I love all of the Disney movies. I’ll settle on Beauty and The Beast.
2. What is the one piece of technology you couldn’t live without? Computer w/ Internet
3. Would you rather be a police officer, firefighter or EMT? EMT. I can handle the bloody stuff
4. Where would you love to visit (that you haven’t yet)? Italy! But heading there in April. Woot!
5. Mexican or Chinese food? Love both but I tend to lean toward Mexican more.
6. What kind of car do you drive? Black Chevy Aveo Hatchback. I call her “Skate”…like a big roller skate.
7. Who is your favorite cartoon character? Never been into cartoons really. Mickey ??
8. Mac or PC? Haven’t used a Mac since I was a freshman in high school. Wouldn’t mind trying one again though.
9. What super hero power would you want? Flying
10. What is your favorite season? Either Summer or Fall, although each season has it’s pros and cons.
11. Ice cream or cake? Gosh. Absolutely love both but don’t eat either of them much anymore since focusing on whole foods. But I guess I’d take ice cream over cake…if I HAD to choose.
Keep Smiling and Be Grateful =)
RFF – 2/3/12
6Just like last week, I want to keep up with doing Random Facts Friday (RFF). It just so happens that I was also tagged this week by Laura from Wife, Mother Athlete and Heather from Running With Sass to post random facts and to answer their questions. I’ll answer their questions but won’t be tagging anyone. (Feel free to tag yourself!) And, instead of doing the typical 11 facts, I’m going to go with 5 this week. I plan on doing something like this as a weekly feature.
1. I don’t wear makeup…ever. Okay, this isn’t true. I did go “Glambert” for an Adam Lambert show and then spiced it up when I went to an NKOTBSB show too. (You know you like my music choices
) Otherwise no makeup…ever.
2. At the age of 9 I joined 4H and began riding horses competitively. As with my running I was into it for the fun and most often didn’t care how I placed. In all honesty I didn’t have the most perfectly trained horses and I had several seasons of lackluster showing. However, I did make it to the Ohio State Fair and placed 6th in my showmanship class one year. Chances were you’d always find me in the running for Sportsman of the Year though. My first horse was named Mattie. We leased her for a year. Then it was my Arabian/Quarter Horse Razha. We owned him for several years. And then there was my Palomino/Quarter Horse Ima Two Eyed Whimp AKA Wimpy. I’d like to go into more detail on my riding experiences in another post. In the meantime let’s just say I had a real connection with all 3 of them and now that I’m vegan I’m in a quandary of whether I even agree with riding horses.
My first show with Mattie when I was 9 years old
3. I focus way more on my bodily functions than most people do…I think. Having a history of kidney stones I keep an eye on my hydration not only through my water intake.
4. I started to play cello in 5th grade then picked up trumpet in 7th. I dropped orchestra once I was in high school due to lack of time in my schedule. Although I was decent at trumpet and made 1st chair my senior year, it wasn’t my passion. Band was fun but I never truly practiced my instrument. I wonder how good I would’ve been if I’d have actually applied myself. In hindsight I wish I would’ve stuck with the cello and dropped trumpet. Ah well. I would love to pick up cello again.
5. Growing up people made fun of my rather large chin and actually would call me “Chin”. I hated it so much that I went to the orthodontist in hopes of having them re-align my jar/teeth to make it less drastic. I don’t think it did much to change my chin, but I do have straight teeth, and have learned to accept my chin. 12 yrs later I still wear my retainers on a nightly basis. I didn’t go through that pain for nothin’!
Questions From Laura:
1. What is your DREAM job? I’m still working on this idea. If I could combine my passions of helping people, photography, and running that’d be great.
2. If you could live ANYWHERE where would you go? I’d be a nomad and travel before settling. Don’t think I’d ever truly settle for more than a year or two
3. Tell us your BIGGEST secret! ha.. okay a smaller one you are willing to share. One of the first times I attempted to run was when we lived on the military base in New Orleans. We had just gotten back from eating pizza and I took our dog, Viking, with me. It was late, HOT and HUMID. Halfway through my tummy started to rumble and the poo started comin’! I hurried behind the barracks, popped a squat, and let loose. Thankfully it was dark out and I was able to keep Viking otherwise occupied. Still a challenge! Needless to say since I’ve started running this has happened more than once. I’ve visited many bushes and public restrooms. The BIGGEST part of this secret? I’ve pooped my shorts on a run. I’m not talking just poop, but a blowout. Thank God for cell phones and a speedy husband to come pick me up! And obviously this topic does not embarrass me at all…now, will I be peeing on my bike? Hmmmm
4. How often do you weigh yourself? I used to weigh myself daily…sometimes multiple times a day. I became obsessed with the number. Now, I rarely weight myself. Once every few months maybe ??
5. Do you keep up w/ politics and current events? I try to by reading the local newspaper that’s provided at my work. I don’t watch much tv but I get my info on the internet.
6. What is your favorite time of day? Morning. Before sunrise.
7. How many hours do YOU sleep a night? In high school I slept 10 hours a night. Nowadays it’s more like 6-8 hours. Wish it was more. This is something I’m working to change.
8. What is your BIGGEST lifetime goal / dream? I tend to make shorter-term goals/dreams and then make them happen. Sometimes I call them my “pipe dreams” but I’ve been able to make most of them a reality. For instance, going to NYC for the Macy’s day parade. Current dream: going to Italy…making it happen in April. Current goal: Half Rev3…making it happen September 2012
9. Would you consider yourself a half empty or half full type? I’ve been both, but most often a half full.
10. Do you reduce, reuse, recycle? YES!! Our community isn’t very recycling-friendly, which bothers the heck out of me. No curbside pick-up and they recently have closed many bins to take our recyclables to. We still make the drive to bins farther away. I’m can get kind of obsessed with recycling/reusing. For instance I always carry reusable bags, we do not use paper towels in our house, and I have a glass straw…just to name a few things.
Our current stash of recycleables
11. Do you strength train? No -_- But it’s in the plans.
Questions from Heather:
1.) How long should you be engaged before you get married? Hmmm. I don’t think it’s necessarily about time. I didn’t really “go by the rules”. I married my husband after 2.5 years of being together (known each other for 5 years) and I was only 18 years old. We’ll be married 10 years this summer.
2.) Must read book? I’m a Twilight fan….
3.) Biggest pet peeve? Salivary noises when eating. I. Can’t. Handle. Them.
4.) What is your dream job? See above…
5.) Crushed ice or cubed? I chewed/sucked on ice constantly as a kid. I never had and still don’t have access to crushed ice. It’s almost like a delicacy when I go to someone’s house with an ice maker/crusher.
6.) Have you ever met anyone famous? When I worked at the animal hospital in New Orleans I met a few famous people and worked on their companion animals. One of them: Trent Reznor. His dog was very sick for about a month and either he or one of his friends was there at all times with the dog. He was quiet, yet very nice. After she recovered he sent huge boxes of Godiva chocolates.
7.) Favorite summer Olympic sport to watch? Gymnastics, swimming/diving, and now the Marathon.
8.) Salty or sweet? I have a sweet tooth but am also an equal opportunity kind of girl.
9.) Would you rather have an encounter with a bear or a mountain lion? Why? Bear, I guess. Can’t you try to make yourself look bigger than them and they will go away? I thought I read something about that.
10.) What was your favorite birthday party as a child? I’m going to have to say the one that my mom organized as a surprise birthday. I hadn’t seen many of my friends over the summer due to being involved in horse shows, so it was nice to see them all again.
11.) What size bed do you sleep in? King. When we moved to Michigan we slept in the finished attic and our queen bed would not fit up the stairs. So we went out and purchased 2 twin beds and put them together with a tempur-pedic pad over. Even though we’ve moved we still have the same set up. We love having a big bed.
Keep Smiling And Be Grateful =)

RFF – 1/27/12
11I was tagged by the wonderful Jen over at Miles, Muscles, & Mommyhood to tell you some random things about myself. I’m thinking I’m going to start to add this in as a weekly feature just for fun.
I’m supposed to tag someone too. This time around I’m not going to tag anyone….but if you want to join in, holler and I’ll tag you and make a set of random questions just for you!
11 Random Things About Me:
1.I have never touched an illegal drug or smoked a cigarette. I’ve only had one experience where I overindulged in alcohol to the extent of needing to vomit. And that was after only 2 drinks. I guess I’m what you call a lightweight. And I’ve never done a “shot”. In all honesty I haven’t had alcohol in well over 2 years. It’s just not my thing.
2. Although I may come across as a ray of sunshine, I really have to work at it. When I was younger, it came naturally. Now I stress and worry way too much. I make a point on a daily basis to focus on the positive and remember to smile.
3. I’m grateful we have our house but if I could do it over again I wouldn’t have pushed to purchase a home. Right now I’d like to be a nomad.
4. Growing up I went through “food stages”. For several years all I wanted was peanut butter and jelly, then it was hotdogs, then chicken tenders. It’s no surprise I still go through “food stages”. i.e. bananas
5. Although I like things to be clean and my OCD will rear it’s ugly head, I have no problem getting down and dirty. I don’t know how many times I’ve picked up already chewed gum as a custodian. Yes, I’m a custodian at a high school. See why here. Cleaning a high school is not for the faint of heart. Seeing the things I see and do would make most people cringe. Oh yeah, I’m a registered veterinary technician too. On the same lines as a custodian, I’ve seen/performed things that would make most people pass out. Drawing blood, hands touching guts in the abdomen, suturing incisions closed, expressing anal glands, and dealing with projectile vomit/diarrhea. I’ve had many o’ smelly and dirty days while on the job. And that’s not even considering the bites and scratches. I’ve got some hawt scars.
6. I’m a morning person. I love to get up early and get the day started.
7. I don’t drink coffee. Never had a cup o’ joe….ever. Same goes for energy drinks. Never had a Monster, Red Bull, etc. I gave up soda pop in high school. Can’t even remember the last time I drank a soda. So where exactly do I get my energy?? It’s au natural. I am Buzzbomb after all.
8. I love photography and wish I could do something more than just taking day to day photos.
9. There are so many different types of workouts I want to try but am too intimidated to do on my own. I’d love to have a personal trainer of some sort.
10. I wish I could have a work from home job. I think I’d be content working on the computer all day long…of course with my workouts thrown in too!
11. I haven’t used a drop of shampoo or product on my hair in over 7 months (I need to update you all on this). Want to know why I’m ‘poo free? Watch this.
Jen’s 11 random questions for me:
You are stranded on a deserted island. Tell me
1. What are the 5 foods you would pick to have with you? Bananas, oranges, tomatoes, grapes, spinach/lettuce.
2. What 2 things would you pick to drink? Fresh water w/lemon and Kombucha (totally digging it lately)
3. What book would you want to have? Twilight…don’t judge.
4. You are visited by ONE person for 24 hours only, who is it? Husband
5. You can have ONE skill that you do not currently posses. What is it? Fly
You just won 5 million dollars! Tell me
1. What is the first thing you do? Ask, “Is this for real?” If so, run around the block dancing.
2. What is the first thing you buy? I’d first pay off our house (does that count as buying?) Then I’d start to give my belongings away so I can start anew….and more simply.
3. Who is the first person you share your winnings with? Husband, then parents.
4. Would you relocate? Where? Oh yes. Would probably travel first to determine where we’d like to ultimately settle. I can foresee a tropical destination for a home though. But then again, I can also see multiple small homes. Or maybe staying nomads.
5. Would you donate to charity? For sure.
6. You must buy me a gift, what do you get me?? A brand new triathlon bike of your choice!
Keep Smiling and Be Grateful =)
